Ulva Island is a window into that world. Free from introduced predators, the island allows native species to survive in relative safety. This film tells a story about life on the island as seen through the eyes of a young robin. Following the birds through the breeding season, we uncover what it’s really like living on the island. White Lions - Born Wild
Jakso 2, kausi 1. In the African bush anything unusual stands out strongly and is often eliminated by eagle-eyed predators. Will the white lion cubs survive? The odds are stacked against them – 80% of all newborn lion cubs don’t make it to adulthood. The most important advantage they have is character: they are feisty and they fight for what they want – a very important quality for a lion cub. They’re members of a small family pride, consisting of their protective tawny-coloured mother and her sister, who also has two young tawny male cubs of her own. This series follows this lion family on their journey through the Kruger wilderness as they struggle to survive and avoid danger. The last white lions cubs to be born here two years ago were killed by another lion pride before they reached six months. To keep their pride alive the two lionesses must also teach their cubs how to hunt, showing just how crucially important the parents’ skills and characters are in turning their helpless cubs into little hunters.

Boteti - The Returning River
For the past 20 years the Boteti River has been nothing but a dry, dusty riverbed. Now all that has changed and the river is flowing once again, bringing life-saving water to the animals that live in the region. Excellent rainfall in the Angolan highlands this year fed Botswana's Okavango Delta to overflowing, which allowed water to follow decades-old pathways to places like Leroo La Tau. Here the Boteti River is flowing once again, transporting this vital element to elephants, crocodiles and many other animals that have survived the arid and unforgiving landscape by walking long distances to drink from waterholes. Many of these animals have never seen flowing water before, and the elephants (Loxodonta africana) in particular are celebrating the arrival of the long-lost Boteti.

Underbelly NZ - The Land of the Long Green Cloud
Jakso 1. Based on true events, this is the story of the real Mr Asia, Marty Johnstone and New Zealand’s first ever drug cartel, The Syndicate. The story of how a boy from Auckland’s North Shore became an international playboy with an industrial scale global drug empire. A true event in New Zealand’s history that is almost Shakespearean in its charting of the rise and fall of this extraordinary character, who due to a penchant for his own product and a misplaced trust in his friends, ultimately became the architect of his own demise. Set in the 70s when New Zealand’s most notorious criminals and young entrepreneurs got together to grow a small-scale Kiwi operation that soon gained momentum, eventually spawning a cartel that spanned the globe. This is essentially a coming of age story, where sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll held New Zealand in its thrall, where big dreams became a glittering reality and living in the fast lane was de rigour.
