Anna's Wild Life
Jakso 2, kausi 2. All in all it’s another action packed season, with all the mishaps, mayhem and magic that is the inevitable result of setting up home with wild animals. Having left the city far behind, Anna and her team have taken to zoo life lock, stock and barrel. Now that the zoo is on its feet, they are able to concentrate on the key roles for any modern zoo. That means, playing their part in the European breeding programmes for endangered species. It also means the zoo can focus more on education and conservation, especially of the native wildlife of West Wales. Their first step is to convert the American bison paddock into an African plains exhibit for endangered species, like the highly endangered Scimitar horned oryx. This means having to move two of the most dangerous animals in the zoo world, which is no mean feat.

Wild Animal E.R.
Jakso 9, kausi 1. This documentary series gives an insight into what goes on behind the scenes at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital. Based in the South-East of Britain, Tiggywinkles is the biggest of its kind in the world. It is also unique, in that it specialises in rehabilitating Britain's indigenous wildlife. Although now there are around 10,000 animal casualties admitted each year, and a team of over 40 staff and volunteers on hand, Tiggywinkles has sprouted from humble beginnings. The wildlife hospital started life operating out of a small garden shed, but it now serves as the hub of wild-animal care in the UK. The hospital has a policy to never turn any ailing creature away. Its ultimate goal is to nurse all injured animals back to health before releasing them into the wild. "Every animal that comes through the doors of Tiggywinkles is dying," says co-founder Les Stocker, "and it's our mission to give these incredible creatures a second chance at life." Filmed day and night over a series of weeks, Wild Animal ER follows dedicated vets and volunteers as they tend to the full spectrum of Britain's wildlife.

White Lions - Born Wild
Jakso 1, kausi 1. In the African bush anything unusual stands out strongly and is often eliminated by eagle-eyed predators. Will the white lion cubs survive? The odds are stacked against them – 80% of all newborn lion cubs don’t make it to adulthood. The most important advantage they have is character: they are feisty and they fight for what they want – a very important quality for a lion cub. They’re members of a small family pride, consisting of their protective tawny-coloured mother and her sister, who also has two young tawny male cubs of her own. This series follows this lion family on their journey through the Kruger wilderness as they struggle to survive and avoid danger. The last white lions cubs to be born here two years ago were killed by another lion pride before they reached six months. To keep their pride alive the two lionesses must also teach their cubs how to hunt, showing just how crucially important the parents’ skills and characters are in turning their helpless cubs into little hunters.
